| Whilst my degree in Acting may not not seem like the most straightforward route into B2B PR, many of the skills I honed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama have been remarkably useful. Studying a range of characters, everyone from serial killers to kings (sometimes both) certainly improves your people skills! You also can’t help but develop a real respect and admiration for the written word when you have Chaucer and Shakespeare as a reference point.
It’s also true to say that itpr is in my blood – being part of the itpr team has a real sense of coming home for me. The fact that I get to work with such a fun and driven group of people is really just the icing on the cake. All in all, I am thoroughly enjoying my new ‘role’ in the realm of PR. In my spare time you can find me watching old movies, sipping Pinot Grigio or baking various sugar filled treats, oh and generally being a drama queen! |
