THE BRIEF

Business VPN developer Appstractor Corporation created a new VPN solution – Privatise Online Encryption – which is the first of these platforms to be built specifically for the small and medium sized business community.

Appstractor came to us at a critical time as the product neared its official beta launch date. At the same time it wanted to increase its online visibility to increase sign ups to the beta program.

A key part of the brief was to increase the number of links to the Privatise Online Encryption web pages coming from quality, high domain authority websites.

 

OUR CAMPAIGN (four months)

We created a content-driven thought-leadership based campaign addressing the problem of cyber security for small and medium sized businesses, using research to highlight how IT directors felt about the state of cyber security and how it impacted small businesses.

The campaign included a full research report, which was hosted on a dedicated landing page and was used to help increase traffic and links to the website.

Using the results from the research we created and placed a series of news articles for placement in the cyber security press and selected key verticals, including links back to the Privatise web page. Some key highlights of the links generated are as follows:

  • Techradar Pro (DA: 91)
  • ITPro (DA: 71)
  • ITProPortal (DA: 71)
  • InfoSecurity (DA: 67)
  • SC Media (DA: 63)

These articles were supplemented by bespoke features placed in technology publications.
