Ever since my first debating competition win I knew I was destined for a career where I would have to rely on my communication skills and determination in order to succeed. But at the same time, I didn’t want this to mean a standard client-facing 9-5 job where routines are everything. For me a career should be a strong mix of creativity, process and people. As such, the obvious choice for me was PR.
PR, for me is the perfect mix. Not only do I get to expand on my communication skills on a daily basis and interact with some fantastic people across a variety of industries but I also get to hone my strategic skills – helping build messages and campaigns that support our clients’ corporate aims.
